New partner in Sponsors Club: pure.energy extends support for Bayer 04

Bayer 04 Leverkusen go into the 2025/26 Bundesliga season with another partner in the Sponsors Club. The previous Executive Box partner pure.energy has extended their commitment and taken the established partnership with the current German runners-up to the next highest level. The newly defined cooperation between Bayer 04 and pure.energy is set to run for two years to 30 June 2027.

As an official partner in the Sponsors Club, pure.energy will have a comprehensive LED hoardings package at the BayArena in Leverkusen. In addition, the new LED exterior services around the Leverkusen stadium will have pure.energy branding. Hospitality benefits in the form of an executive box for Bundesliga home games as well as other commercial benefits such as Stadium Vision at the BayArena complete the portfolio.

Exequiel Palacios joins Ipswich Town

After six and a half years, Exequiel Palacios is leaving the Bundesliga and moving from Bayer 04 to the Premier League. The Argentine, who as a Werkself player won the World Cup with his national team four years ago and finished as runners-up at this summer’s tournament, will play for newly promoted English side Ipswich Town with immediate effect. The 27-year-old, whose contract in Leverkusen was due to run until 30 June 2030, joined Bayer 04 in January 2020 as a promising young talent. He steadily developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the German top flight.
