Saturday start for Women: Bundesliga matchdays 1-4 confirmed

The Bayer 04 Women's team start the new season in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga with a Saturday game away to SC Freiburg. The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed the fixture details for the first four matchdays. The kick-off for the game at the Dreisamstadion on 31 August is at 14.00 CEST. The first home game at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium is on Sunday 15 September at 14.00 CEST against Champions League participants Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayer 04-Frauen

The schedule for matchdays three and four is also confirmed: Leverkusen are away to SGS Essen on Saturday 21 September also with the kick-off at 14.00 CEST. The Black and Reds start matchday four with a home game six days later against TSG Hoffenheim on Friday 27 September at 18.30 CEST.

Bayer 04 will announce information on the sale of tickets for the home games nearer the time via the club media channels. All four fixtures will be broadcast live on pay streaming channels DAZN and MagentaSport.

Matchday 1: Saturday, 31 August, 14.00 CEST: SC Freiburg vs Bayer 04

Matchday 2: Sunday, 15 September, 14.00 CEST: Bayer 04 vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Matchday 3: Saturday, 21 September, 14.00 CEST: SGS Essen vs Bayer 04

Matchday 4: Friday, 27 September, 18.30 CEST: Bayer 04 vs TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
