DFB publishes Women's fixture list: Opener at SC Freiburg

The German Football Association (DFB) has published the fixture list for the 2024/25 season in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga. The Bayer 04 Women have their first game away to SC Freiburg between 31 August and 2 September. The first home game on matchday two against Champions League qualifiers Eintracht Frankfurt will be played between 13 and 16 September. The season ends for the Black and Reds on 11 May with an away game at runners-up VfL Wolfsburg.

The opening match of the season is between newly promoted FFC Turbine Potsdam and the champions of Germany Bayern Munich on Friday 30 August (kick-off: 17.00 CEST). The timing of games in the first few matchdays will probably be announced by the DFB at the end of July.

Winter break after matchday 12

The Hinrunde derby at FC Köln on matchday eight will be played between 1 and 4 November and the Bayer 04 Women will entertain the team from Cologne in the Rückrunde between 11 and 14 April 2025. The opening game of the Rückrunde on matchday 12 will be followed by a six-week winter break that ends on 31 January 2025. As usual, all six games on the final matchday (22) on 11 May 2025 will kick off at the same time.

Bayer 04 will announce information on the start of ticket sales for home games at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium in good time on the club media channels.

ALL GAMES LIVE on MagentaSport and DAZN

As with last season, all 132 Bundesliga matches in the coming campaign can be seen live on the subscription channels MagentaSport and DAZN. Matchdays generally start, as with last season, with a game on a Friday at 18.30. Two games are played on Saturdays (12.00 and 14.00) and the same goes for Sundays (14.00 and 18.30). The matchday ends with a floodlit match on Monday kicking off at 19.30 and is broadcast free on SPORT1. In addition, ARD and ZDF can broadcast ten live games per season so that there will be a total of 32 matches live on free to air television. Match highlights will be shown on ARD/ZDF, MagentaSport, DAZN and Sky.

In the coming season, the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga will be played for the last time with twelve teams. There will be an increase to 14 teams for the 2025/26 season.
