“Clara hasn’t had an easy time. She had several months out, but battled back and returned to training,” said Achim Feifel, Bayer 04 Women sporting director. “Unfortunately, competition for places meant she didn’t get to play. We hope she manages to get more playing time next season at her new club and can continue to develop.”
The 20-year-old made a total of 15 appearances for Bayer 04 in the Bundesliga going back to November 2021, scoring one goal. She has also played twice in the DFB Pokal. The former Germany U20 international was in the matchday squad six times this past season but didn’t get to feature.
“It was a very nice and educational time with lots of highs and lows. I’m pleased about everything I got to experience here, starting with my first steps in senior football and my Bundesliga debut,” said Fröhlich. “It was just time for me to seek out a new challenge and hopefully get lots of playing time again.”

The previous Executive Box partner pure.energy has extended their commitment and taken the established partnership with the current German runners-up to the next highest level.
