Bayer 04 sign centre-forward Irina Pando
The Bayer 04 Women have brought in a new striker. Irina Pando joins from Swiss top-flight club FC Luzern. The Switzerland international has penned a two-year deal.
The Werkself have secured the services of a prolific new signing in Pando. The 25-year-old scored 18 goals in 30 games in the Women’s Super League last season. She also won the domestic cup competition last term. Irina made her international debut for Switzerland in January of last year.
“With Irina Pando, we have succeeded in bringing in a proven, versatile and dangerous striker. Her athleticism and assertiveness as well as her experience will breathe new life into our attacking game,” said Bayer 04 head coach Achim Feifel.
Irina Pando is “really looking forward to the new challenge. I thank Bayer 04 Leverkusen for this wonderful opportunity. I’ve had a very warm and professional welcome. Bayer 04 are absolutely the right club for me. I’m more than happy to be able to take my next step here.”

New partner in Sponsors Club: pure.energy extends support for Bayer 04
Bayer 04 Leverkusen go into the 2025/26 Bundesliga season with another partner in the Sponsors Club. The previous Executive Box partner pure.energy has extended their commitment and taken the established partnership with the current German runners-up to the next highest level. DFB-Punktespiel 2.0: Wamser joins DFB grandees Völler, Neuendorf and Frymuth
Bayer 04 player Carlotta Wamser is part of a VIP group joining together for the launch of the DFB campaign Punktespiel 2.0.
