Bayer 04 support UNHCR campaign

With this campaign, the UN Refugee Agency is highlighting the enormous efforts that refugees take to bring themselves and their families to safety.

Bayer 04, already closely involved with the UN Refugee Agency through the Football Club Social Alliance, are supporting the campaign with the whole Bundesliga team by symbolically tracking the kilometres run in the game against Freiburg as part of the action.

In addition, the director of the UN Refugee Agency in Germany, Peter Ruhenstroth-Bauer, will address the crowd at half-time. "Millions of people are covering millions and millions of kilometres. It's time to give these kilometres meaning," he said. It is possible to track the kilometres via different apps and via the campaign website. And the kilometres covered by the Werkself will also be added to the total.
Everybody can join in, it's really easy: https://stepwithrefugees.org/de-de/
