After the top match on Sunday, Werkself captain Lukas Hradecky presented 140 blankets to the local homeless charity. The Finland international keeper talked to the volunteers on site about this important community activity.

That means this St. Nicholas Day (6 December) will see 100 jam-packed bags presented to Leverkusen citizens who come to the Kältegang Leverkusen meeting point on the Wiesdorfer Markplatz on Wednesday. This is the fourth time this collection has been held.
In addition, funds raised by fans donating the deposit from their cups at Werkself home games will also go to Kältegang Leverkusen. Collection bins on the bottom tier are sited in the immediate vicinity of the exits in the North Stand and also centrally opposite blocks SD3/D3.

After a run of seven games unbeaten in all competitions, the Werkself suffered a 1-0 defeat at FC Union Berlin despite their best efforts.
