The Bayer 04 Women played TSG Hoffenheim in the opening fixture in the quarter-finals on Tuesday and went through to the last four with a 3-2 win in extra time. The other quarter-final ties were played yesterday (Wednesday): SGS Essen progressed with a 3-1 win away to Turbine Potsdam and now travel to Leverkusen in the semi-finals. Second division Arminia Bielefeld beat SC Sand 3-2 and they are now in the other semi-final against VfL Wolfsburg, who secured a 3-0 victory over FSV Gütersloh 2009.
