
The last international break was six months ago – UEFA postponed the 2021 European Championships in England by a year in April due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament will now be held from 7 July to 1 August 2022.

Milena Nikolic had to drop out from international duty with Bosnia-Herzegovina due to injury. The 28-year-old broke a finger in a challenge in Friday night’s Bundesliga game against MSV Duisburg (2-0) and now undergoes an operation on Wednesday.
The Werkself Women left behind in Leverkusen have a game this week: A friendly against the Germany Women’s U19 team has been arranged for Saturday, 19 September. The match will be played behind closed doors.

For the third time in a row, the Leverkusen eSports players have made it through to the final round of the VBL Club Championship. From 7 to 8 March, they will compete for the German Club Championship at XPERION in Hamburg. At the start of the final round, they face Hamburger SV in the Round of 16.
