
Every member has until noon on Wednesday 18 August to purchase up to 04 tickets. Orders are exclusively via the online ticket shop at bayer04.de. No telephone orders can be received at the Bayer 04 service centre or the Bayer 04 shop in Wiesdorf. It is still necessary to give the details of each ticket user during the order process. On successful completion of purchase, the tickets will put online by the end of the week.
Non-members can use the same process from Wednesday 18 August at 18.00 CEST to order up to 04 tickets provided the allocation of matchday tickets has not been exhausted. Away fans are not permitted on the first home matchday in accordance with the DFL general meeting of 14 July 2021.
There is a capacity of 15,105 for the first Werkself home game of the new Bundesliga season in accordance with the North Rhine-Westphalia state coronavirus protection order. Bayer 04 will implement all rules and measures in the DFL hygiene concept. The club also continues to promote Covid-19 vaccinations against the background of the future, safe visit to the stadium.

Access to the stadium
Season card holders and matchday ticket holders can attend the first home game of the season on production of proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or complete recovered from coronavirus.
Exceptions – children and teenagers
In addition, Bayer 04 has decided to allow an allocation of 1000 for people who are not vaccinated or have recovered. The spectators must however, providing they are older than six, be able to present a personal negative coronavirus flow test. Bayer 04 has also decided to make the allocation exclusively available to children and teenagers (between 04 and 19 years of age) among season card holders.
No ticket sales on matchday or away fans
The matchday ticket offices will not be open. Away fans are not permitted at the first home game.
Seats allocated according to ‘chessboard’ principle
It is not possible to guarantee the usual seat for season card holders or ticket holders sitting together as the 'chessboard' principal is used the seat allocation.

A special award for special social commitment. At this year's ceremony for the Sepp Herberger Awards in Wolfsburg on Monday night, the DFB Sepp Herberger Foundation recognised Bayer 04 in the social rehabilitation category. The Bundesliga club received the prize, together with €12,000, for its great service to inmates, particularly in the Wuppertal-Ronsdorf prison.

The Bundesliga home game against VfL Wolfsburg in the first half of the season was one of those classic ‘days to forget’ for Bayer 04 Women. It started with goalkeeper Charlotte Voll being shown a red card in the first minute of the game, and following a further sending-off, coach Roberto Pätzold's 9-women side ended up losing 5-1 to last season's runners-up. At 18.30 CET on Sunday, they'll have the chance to exact revenge at the AOK Stadium - and pick up valuable points in the race for third place.

After full time in the 1-1 draw against FC Bayern Munich, the Bayer 04 fans first had to catch their breath. Firstly because of their usual loud support, and secondly because of the great drama they'd witnessed on the pitch: three disallowed goals, two red cards and a Werkself side who "again produced a very good performance against strong opponents", as head coach Kasper Hjulmand described.
