
In the past season, Marc ‘Marc_Ldw23’ came fourth in the VBL Grand Final and took part in the eChampions League. Sean ‘SEAN_LDW07’ made it to 13th place at the FC Pro Open in London and also won the VBL International Series. Together, the two cousins reached the top eight in the VBL Club Championship. Both boys delivered strong performances last season and represented Bayer 04 worthily on the virtual pitch. Together, we want to build on their good performances and take the next step in the new season.”
The 2024/25 season will be Marc’s fifth under the Bayer cross. The 22-year-old commented on his extension: “I'm looking forward to another year under the cross on the virtual pitch. We were able to celebrate some success last season and obviously want to go one better next season.” Sean is entering his second season in black and red. The 21-year-old was also delighted: “After such a successful season, I'm happy and motivated to continue playing for the club. Of course, I'm also delighted to be on the virtual pitch with my cousin Marc. We will give our all for the coming season and build on our past performances.”
