The Leverkusen players started matchday five early in the evening against SC Paderborn, the unbeaten league leaders of the North West section. The Black and Reds suffered an early overall defeat as the next one vs one game between Marc Landwehr and Paderborn’s Bartel ended in a 3-2 victory for SCP.
Hamburg SV were the opponents on matchday six. The Landwehr cousins again played in the two vs two game. The Black and Reds clocked up a 4-1 win against the HSV eSports players Steffen ‘FUNINO’ Poppe and Daniel ‘HSV_DANIEL7’ Dwelk. Marc Landwehr then played Dwelk in the first one vs one encounter. The Leverkusen player won 3-2. The third and final game was not required as the overall victory had been achieved.
The final game of the evening was against Borussia Dortmund. The Landwehr cousins played a 1-1 draw in the two vs two against Roee ‘BVB_FELDMANN’ Feldmann and Bradley ‘BVB_BRADLEY’ Destoop. Sean Landwehr then beat Feldmann 4-3, Marc Landwehr lost 3-1 to Dortmund’s Dennis ‘BVB_DENNINHO’ Malcherczyk. Matchday seven ended all-square.
The next games are on another triple matchday on Tuesday 5 December. The first opponents from 17.30 CET are Hansa Rostock and that is followed from 19.00 CET by the games against Eintracht Braunschweig. The evening ends with the encounter with VfL Bochum (from 20.30 CET).
