Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr and Sean ‘SEAN_LDW07’ Landwehr first faced Muhammed Ali ‘ALIIIG07’ Gencer and Richard ‘REECE_LF’ Schulz in the two-v-two game and ran out 3-2 winners. Marc then prevailed 5-2 over Gencer to wrap up the tie and all three points.
The VBL Club Championship play-offs will begin on Friday 22 March at the Strassenkicker Base in Cologne. The finals will then be on 23 and 24 March. Bayer 04’s team will be up against Hoffenheim, who finished fourth in the southeast division, from 6.45pm CET.
