#B04eSports: Two wins, two defeats

A place in the leading group in the North West division remains despite slipping from fifth to sixth. The rearranged match against Hamburg SV on Monday night and the clash with Hansa Rostock ended in defeat while the #B04eSports players clocked up two overall wins against Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Braunschweig. Matchday 24 began at 17.30 CET against league newcomers Borussia Dortmund, The 2 vs 2 opening game pitched Marc 'MARC_LDW23' Landwehr and Sean 'SEAN_LDW07' Landwehr against Roee ‘BVB_FELDMAN’ Feldman and Alihan ‘BVB_ALIHAN’ Kösecik. It ended in a 2-2 draw. In the first 1 vs 1 of the evening, Marc Landwehr secured a 7-0 win against Feldman and his cousin Sean Landwehr also came out on top in his game. That was a 3-0 win against Dennis ‘BVB_DENNINHO’ Malcherczyk. That gave Leverkusen the overall points – a successful start to the triple matchday.

Next win - defeat against Rostock

The match against Hansa Rostock followed. The Landwehr cousins again played in the 2 vs 2 but they ended up losing 3-2 to Rostock's Lukas ‘LUKAS_OFFICIAL11’ Wolff and Felix ‘IFELIIX23’ Breitkopf. As the following 1 vs 1 between Sean Landwehr and Wolff also ended in a win for Rostock (5-2) that meant an overall defeat for the #B04eSports players.

Leverkusen faced Eintracht Braunschweig at the end of the evening. The Landwehr cousins picked up important points at the start against Braunschweig's Dennis ‘THAA_DEUS’ Erdmann and Luca ‘DER_ERDKLUMPEN’ Rosowski with a 3-1 win. As the following 1 vs 1 games between Marc Landwehr and Niklas ‘SQUARESKIRE’ Hartmann (2-2) plus Sean Landwehr and Erdmann (1:1) ended all square, the win in the 2 vs 2 game brought the overall victory.

The #B04eSports team are currently sixth in the North West division on 46 points.

The Leverkusen eSports players were also in action on Monday night. Although there were no points gained in the match against Hamburg SV. The Landwehr cousins lost 2-1 in the 2 vs 2 against the Hamburg players Steffen ‘FUNINO’ Pöppe and Thore ‘HSV_THORE’ Hansen. Sean Landwehr then won his 1 vs 1 against Daniel ‘HSV_DANIEL7’ Dwelk - with a final score of 2-1. As Marc Landwehr lost 2-1 in the final 1 vs 1 against Pöppe, the Black and Reds were left empty-handed after the clash with HSV.

The Leverkusen keyboard pro players have another triple matchday on Tuesday 13 February. It starts at 17.30 CET against opponents VfL Bochum and then from 19.00 CET against FC St. Pauli. The #B04eSports evening will be rounded off with the games against Hannover 96.
