The Landwehr cousins picked up important points at the start against Braunschweig's Dennis ‘THAA_DEUS’ Erdmann and Luca ‘DER_ERDKLUMPEN’ Rosowski with a 3-1 win. As the following 1 vs 1 games between Marc Landwehr and Niklas ‘SQUARESKIRE’ Hartmann (2-2) plus Sean Landwehr and Erdmann (1:1) ended all square, the win in the 2 vs 2 game brought the overall victory.

The Landwehr cousins lost 2-1 in the 2 vs 2 against the Hamburg players Steffen ‘FUNINO’ Pöppe and Thore ‘HSV_THORE’ Hansen. Sean Landwehr then won his 1 vs 1 against Daniel ‘HSV_DANIEL7’ Dwelk - with a final score of 2-1. As Marc Landwehr lost 2-1 in the final 1 vs 1 against Pöppe, the Black and Reds were left empty-handed after the clash with HSV.

After six and a half years, Exequiel Palacios is leaving the Bundesliga and moving from Bayer 04 to the Premier League. The Argentine, who as a Werkself player won the World Cup with his national team four years ago and finished as runners-up at this summer’s tournament, will play for newly promoted English side Ipswich Town with immediate effect. The 27-year-old, whose contract in Leverkusen was due to run until 30 June 2030, joined Bayer 04 in January 2020 as a promising young talent. He steadily developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the German top flight.
