Matchday 15 brought a meeting with the VBL CC newcomers Fortuna Düsseldorf. The 2 vs 2 game saw Marc 'MARC_LDW23' Landwehr and his cousin Sean 'SEAN_LDW07' Landwehr  play Kai ‘HENSOO’ Hense and Joe ‘JH7’ Hellmann. The game ended in a 2-1 win for the Black and Reds. As the ensuing 1 vs 1 between Sean Landwehr and Düsseldorf’s Hellmann finished all square at 1-1 the overall result came down to the third game. That ended in a goalless draw between Marc Landwehr and Hense. But that was enough to secure the overall victory for the #B04eSports team against the Düsseldorf side.

quick victory against FC Köln

Then came the digital derby against FC Köln that Leverkusen won with a game to spare. Marc and Sean Landwehr won 3-0 in the 2 vs 2 game against Denis ‘DENIS’ Müller and Tim Niclas ‘THESTRXNGER’ Katnawatos with a 5-0 win for Marc Landwehr against FC Köln’s Müller sealing the overall victory.

The evening ended with a match against newcomers to the league FC Magdeburg. The 2 vs 2 between the Landwehr cousins and Muhammed Ali ‘ALIIIG07’ Gencer plus Richard ‘REECE_LF’ Schulz produced a 2-1 win for the Black and Reds. The following game between Marc Landwehr and Magdeburg’s Gencer ended in a goalless draw. Sean Landwehr then beat Schulz 3-0 for the victory on matchday 17.

Women's top match: Pätzold wants to ‘keep Frankfurt defence busy’

Six points from three games: The Bayer 04 Women have made a successful start to the Bundesliga season. As part of the first double fixture week in the new Bundesliga campaign, coach Roberto Pätzold's team face last season's third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt at home at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium just four days after the hard-earned 1-0 win at FC Nürnberg. Last term’s two hard-fought games (2-2 and 2-3 from a Leverkusen perspective) also suggest an evenly balanced encounter on Thursday, 26 September (kick-off: 19:00 CEST/live on MagentaSport and DAZN).
