
Matchday 11 started at 18.00 CET with the game against FC St. Pauli. As usual, it was 2 vs 2 for starters with the Black and Red duo of Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr and Furkan ‘FURKY’ Kayacik in action first. The Leverkusen players were up against Berkay ‘BERKAYLION’ Demirci and Erol ‘EROL_96X’ Bernhardt – And they won the game 2-1. Landwehr then played St Pauli's Kamal ‘FCSP_KAMAL’ Kamboj. As the Leverkusen player only managed a 3-3 draw, the third game in the match would produce the winners and losers. Furky beat Demirci 2-1 to secure three points on matchday 11.
The Leverkusen eSports players lost out to Hannover 96 on matchday 12. First, Landwehr and Furky were defeated 1-0 by the to Hannover players Riad ‘H96_RIAD’ Fazlija and Ajdin ‘H96_AJDIN’ Islamovic. Landwehr was then on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline in the 1 vs 1 against Islamovic. The result was therefore decided with a game to play.
The win against FC St. Pauli on matchday 11 saw the Leverkusen players move up the table and they are now sixth, a position that would qualify them for the VBL CC play-offs. The remaining places for the final rounds of the VBL CC are decided in those matches at the end of March. The Leverkusen eSports team are currently nine points off second place that qualifies directly for the finals.
The #B04eSports players are next in action on Tuesday 20 December with the last matches in the current calendar year. A triple matchday marks the end of the Hinrunde and the start of the Rückrunde. Matchday 13 starts at 18.00 CET with the game against Schalke 04 and that is followed at 19.30 CET by matchday 14 against Hertha Berlin. The Rückrunde of the VBL CC starts for the #B04eSports team with matchday 15 against Werder Bremen (from 21.00 CET).

Bayer 04 have ended Artem Stepanov’s loan deal at Nürnberg and agreed a new loan to Utrecht in the Netherlands. The Ukrainian striker did not play as much as hoped for at the Bundesliga 2 club and will now continue his development in the Eredivisie for the rest of 2025/26.
