Matchday 18 – the first meeting in the Rückrunde – started at 17.30 CET against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Three points were gained against Holstein Kiel. The 2 vs 2 between the Leverkusen duo and Julius ‘JULI’ Kühle and Colin ‘COOOLLIIIN’ Völter produced a 3-2 victory and Marc Landwehr wrapped up the overall win with a game to go with a 2-1 win against Kiel’s Völter.

The Leverkusen keyboard players are back in action with another triple matchday on Tuesday 30 January. League newcomers VfL Osnabrück are first up at 17.30 CET and that is followed by the match against SC Paderborn 07 (from 19.00 CET). The evening ends for the Black and Reds against Hamburg SV (from 20.30 CET)..

Bayer 04 is redesigning the public catering at the BayArena and Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion for the start of the 2026/27 season. Together with new catering partner Aramark, processes will be developed and the service at the stadium will be improved in a targeted way.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have sold young defender Andrea Natali to AZ Alkmaar on permanent terms. The 18-year-old Italian was on loan at the Dutch club last season, where he mainly played for the reserve team in the second division.
