#B04eSports: Four points at start of the second half of the season

Following on from last week’s wins on matchdays 15 to 17 in the VBL Club Championship by WOW for the Leverkusen keyboard players and a successful end to the Hinrunde, the Rückrunde started with matches against Borussia Mönchengladbach, Werder Bremen and Holstein Kiel. The Leverkusen players picked up the next four points at the start of the second half of the season.

Matchday 18 – the first meeting in the Rückrunde – started at 17.30 CET against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 2 vs 2 game saw Marc 'MARC_LDW23' Landwehr and Sean 'SEAN_LDW07' Landwehr take on Jannis ‘BMG_JISTENNSQ’ Putz and Lukas ‘BMG_LXKI’ Lange. The B04eSports players won 2-1. Marc Landwehr then drew 2-2 with Mönchengladbach’s Putz, Sean Landwehr lost 3-2 in the final game against the Foals eSports player Lange. That meant matchday 18 ended in a draw.

goals galore against Bremen – win against Kiel

Werder Bremen were the opponents on matchday 19 and there were plenty of goals in the games. It started with a 2 vs 2 between the Landwehr cousins and Bremen’s Henning ‘HENNING’ Wilmbusse and Berkay ‘BERKAYLION’ Demirci (1-4) and then an 8-4 defeat for Sean Landwehr against Werder’s Demirci. The Black and Reds lost matchday 19.

Three points were gained against Holstein Kiel. The 2 vs 2 between the Leverkusen duo and Julius ‘JULI’ Kühle and Colin ‘COOOLLIIIN’ Völter produced a 3-2 victory and Marc Landwehr wrapped up the overall win with a game to go with a 2-1 win against Kiel’s Völter.

The #B04eSports team remain fourth in the North-West division on 37 points.

outlook: league leaders and league newcomers

The Leverkusen keyboard players are back in action with another triple matchday on Tuesday 30 January. League newcomers VfL Osnabrück are first up at 17.30 CET and that is followed by the match against SC Paderborn 07 (from 19.00 CET). The evening ends for the Black and Reds against Hamburg SV (from 20.30 CET)..
