"The partnership with MG Motor has flourished from day one through unique fan moments such as the pick-up service of winners with MG4 Electric or the integration of current and vintage MG vehicles in the 'coming home' motorcade after the double win," said Markus Breglec as chief marketing and innovation officer. "The extension of the partnership to the premium partner level is logical and shows the mutual understanding of the partnership. I'm looking forward to MG Motor being an even stronger partner in the new season."
Marc Hecht, PR & communications director at MG Motor Deutschland, said: "The partnership with Bayer 04 Leverkusen was a perfect fit per MG Motor Deutschland from the start – both sides show a high degree of agility. At the same time, both sides have their feet firmly on the ground. We got off to a perfect start with this partnership last season in the Rückrunde. Now we want to move up to the next level together and breathe even more life into it. We wish the Werkself a good and successful start to the new season and hope they can carry over the joy and energy from last season."
One contractual right for MG Motor, arising from the company moving up to being a premium partner, is the display of the company’s images in the mixed zone at the BayArena and at pre- and post-match press conferences at Werkself home games.
Another element of the partnership is comprehensive LED perimeter advertising and other advertising at the BayArena. In addition, MG Motor will receive hospitality services from Bayer 04 including VIP tickets.
