Bayer 04 Leverkusen have won the international VEGA Digital Centauri Award 2019 in the ‘website’ category.

With the VEGA Digital Award, the International Awards Associate (IAA) pays tribute to internationally leading professionals in the creative field of digital media. The participants were selected, under strict and comprehensive standards, by a selection committee made up of creative and leading major figures in the industry. The Düsseldorf Agency stay golden conceived the design of the graphical user interface as part of the relaunch of the Bayer 04 website. Bayer 04 could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Hamburg in the final game of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season as they finish in sixth place and qualify for the UEFA Europa League. Patrik Schick missed a first-half penalty before Fabio Vieira put the visitors ahead on the hour. Jarell Quansah’s deflected header in the 79th minute earned a point to finish the campaign.
