Bayer 04 Leverkusen has a new coffee partner. The club has agreed a long-term partnership with the Bocholt-based roastery Imping, running to 30 June 2031. The exclusive partnership with the family-run business includes the installation of fully automatic coffee machines at the BayArena, as well as the right to supply and serve coffee products in the business areas during Werkself home games.

A crowd of around 1,000 Bayer 04 fans came to watch the Werkself train on Tuesday afternoon. Head coach Carles Martínez was able to welcome back Patrik Schick following his post-World Cup holiday for the 90-minute session, in which the squad debuted their new home kit for the 2026/27 season. At the end, the players spent time greeting the fans, taking selfies and signing autographs, while Loïc Badé also spoke to the media.

Alejo Sarco has left Bayer 04 Leverkusen to join Sporting Gijón in Spain’s second division. Bayer 04 have secured a buy-back clause for the 20-year-old Argentine striker, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
