It's back to business at the BayArena! After a two-month summer break, a group of the Werkself squad began preparations for the 2025/26 season on Monday afternoon. In the first session in Leverkusen, which lasted just over 75 minutes, new head coach Erik ten Hag and his coaching team immediately turned up the intensity, but also made sure there was plenty of work on the ball in one or two drills.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed the 17-year-old forward Dustin Buck. The Germany youth international joins from the youth set-up at FC Augsburg. The technically gifted and fast attacker will strengthen the Werkself U19 squad.
