DFL confirms matchdays 28 to 30 – #B04RBL on a Sunday night
The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the dates for Bundesliga matchdays 28 to 30. The Werkself have two Sunday and one Saturday fixtures.
The home game against Hertha Berlin is on Saturday afternoon, 2 April, at 15.30 CET. The match against the Old Lady from the capital is followed by two Sunday games for the Black and Reds.
The Werkself are away to VfL Bochum on matchday 29 with the kick-off at 15.30 CET on 10 April and the home match against RB Leipzig is a week later. That game kicks off at 19.30 CET.

Matchday 28: Saturday, 02.04, 15.30 CET: Bayer 04 vs Hertha Berlin
Matchday 29: Sunday, 10.04, 15.30 CET: VfL Bochum vs Bayer 04
Matchday 30: Sunday, 17.04, 19.30 CET: Bayer 04 vs RB Leipzig

New seating for the BayArena - donation and reuse of existing seats
A fresh look for the BayArena: The Bayer 04 stadium will have new seating in the form of folding seats for the 2026/27 campaign that will ensure significantly improved seating comfort and simplified movement within the rows of seats. As part of routine replacement after 17 years, fans of the Werkself were able to purchase the existing seats, used to witness the first German league title in the club's history. In addition, a large proportion of the seats will be donated to charitable projects, primarily in the local region. Bayer 04 fans can look forward to new, functional folding seats for the season opener at the beginning of August - still in the club colours of black and red, of course.
