DFL confirms matchday 24 to 28 fixtures
The German Football League (DFL) have announced timings for another five matchdays in the Bundesliga. The Werkself have two Saturday and two Sunday games plus a Monday night match at Hoffenheim.
Bayer 04 are away to Rhineland rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach on matchday 24. The away game at the Foals is on Saturday 6 March (kick-off: 15.30 CET). If the Werkself progress to the Round of 16 in the Europa League then the first leg will be on the following Thursday (11 March).
Sunday 14 March brings the Bundesliga home game against newly promoted Armenia Bielefeld. The kick-off at the BayArena is at 13.30 CET. The return leg in the Europa League would then be on the following Thursday (18 March). Exactly one week after the clash with Bielefeld, the Werkself are away to the Old Lady in Berlin (kick-off: 15.30 CET). The match against Hertha Berlin is the last fixture before the first international break in 2021.
The Black and Reds return to league action with the visit of FC Schalke 04 (Saturday, 3 April, 15.30 CET) and that is followed on Monday 12 April (kick-off: 20.30 CET) by the away match at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

Algarve sunshine instead of sub-zero temperatures: Bayer 04 Women start winter training camp
In Germany, the temperatures are currently around zero, leaving even professional footballers freezing - but not the Bayer 04 Women. Roberto Pätzold's team have fled the cold to the south and are preparing for the second half of the season at a training camp in the Algarve, almost 2,000 kilometres away from home as the crow flies. The Leverkusen squad landed in Faro on Saturday morning and have already completed the first three training sessions over the weekend.

Werkself review #B04VfB: Honest words and looking ahead
