After Saturday’s home defeat, the club medics have not been able to identify any serious thigh muscle problems for either Sven Bender or Karim Bellarabi. That was the result of an MRI scan on Sunday.
Bellarabi had problems in the first half with his left thigh and was taken off on 38 minutes. And Sven Bender did not come out for the second half also because of thigh problems. He was replaced by Julian Baumgartlinger who celebrated his comeback after a long-term injury.
