Update on the early-bird booking period for 2026/27 Bundesliga home matches

Bayer 04 preparations for the 2026/27 season are in full swing, with the first friendly now under their belts. Although there are still around seven weeks to go until the first Bundesliga home game in early September, there is already huge anticipation for the start of competitive action for head coach Carles Martínez’s team at the BayArena. For the Bundesliga home matches of the new season, here is the latest information regarding the first phase of single-match ticket sales. The tried-and-tested early-bird phase remains in place. From 23 to 31 July, tickets for matches will go on sale on weekdays; the early-bird phase ends on 5 August at the latest – provided tickets are still available by then.

Sales procedure:

  • On five days, tickets for two home matches each will go on sale; on two further days, tickets for three home matches each will go on sale
  • The fixtures going on sale on each day will be announced exclusively via the Bayer 04 newsletter (sign up for the newsletter)
  • On each of the seven sales days, the digital waiting room in the Bayer 04 online shop will open at 11:30 CEST (as usual)
  • At 12:00 CEST, the Bayer 04 online shop will open and ticket sales will begin

Early-bird booking period:

  • Tickets for all home matches will remain on sale until the end of the early-bird booking period (including 5 August, provided tickets are still available by then)
  • After 5 August, only tickets for the home match against Union Berlin will remain on sale

Eligibility criteria:

All members have the opportunity to secure tickets for any available seats. Separate ticketing rules apply to home matches against VfB Stuttgart, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV and Bayern Munich:

  • Long-standing members (joined before 1 July 2022): The whole stadium
  • Members (1 July 2022 – 30 June 2026): Blocks F4, F9, A and H
  • New members (from 1 July 2026): Blocks F4 and F9

Ticket limts:

  • Up to four tickets can be purchased for the following home matches:
    • Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, SC Freiburg, SC Paderborn 07, SV 07 Elversberg, FC Augsburg, Mainz 05,TSG Hoffenheim
    • The underlined fixtures go on general sale after 24 hours (except for the North Stand)
  • Up to two tickets can be purchased for the following home matches:
    • VfB Stuttgart, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV, Bayern Munich
  • Season tickets are included in the ticket limit

Ticket exchange:

  • The ticket exchange will go live at the start of the early-bird booking period; tickets for all 2026/27 home matches (except for FC Köln) can be listed at any time
  • Tickets can be purchased on the ticket exchange platform both during the early-bird booking period and after individual ticket sales have begun

Separate derby ticket sales:

  • There will be a separate ticket sale for the home match against FC Köln; details to follow

Under the slogan ‘Holidays without War’, 60 children from war-torn Ukraine took part in the summer camp organised by the German-Ukrainian association Blau-Gelbes Kreuz in Leverkusen and the surrounding area in August. The children aged between 10 and 14 – many of whom have lost their parents in the war – come from the Ukrainian twin towns of Leverkusen, Cologne and Monheim am Rhein: Nikopol, Dnipro and Volodymyr. Bayer 04, Bayer AG and TSV Bayer 04 supported the camp to mark its 10th anniversary, enabling even more children and young people than in previous years to spend a few carefree days’ holiday away from the war in the Rhineland.
