"That was unacceptable. We condemn it," said sporting director Rudi Völler. CEO Michael Schade expressed a similar opinion: "This incident is embarrassing, disrespectful and absolutely unsporting. We apologised immediately to the management of RB Leipzig and offered all our support including the provision of a replacement bus. Thankfully that wasn't required. Such incidents have nothing to do with football and normal fan protests." Bayer 04 will do everything to discover the identity of the masked perpetrators.
