Patrik Schick sidelined due to injury

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without centre-forward Patrik Schick for the next few games. The Czechia international suffered a thigh injury shortly before the end of yesterday's 2-1 win at FC St. Pauli. Schick should be able to return to the Werkself squad for the Bundesliga away game at Mainz 05 on 18 October.

Bayer 04 captain Robert Andrich did not pick up a serious injury during Leverkusen's win in Hamburg. The midfielder was substituted at half-time in the match at the Millerntor due to a groin problem.
