Limited edition champions magazine at Augsburg home game

A historic Bundesliga season for the Werkself ends with the presentation of the Meisterschale at Saturday’s home game against FC Augsburg. Bayer 04 are the new champions of Germany – for the first time in the club’s history. For this reason, there will be a special publication on the final Matchday. 88 pages will hail the achievements of the protagonists and includes emotional highlights from Werkself Radio. In addition, the photo-packed magazine will also include record stats, media assessment and congratulations from the world of football plus a report from 14 April when Bayer 04 were crowned champions with games to play thanks to a 5-0 win against Werder Bremen.

Bayer 04 have thrilled fans all over the world this season and secured the first, long-awaited league title. The team under head coach Xabi Alonso can make history again in the home game against FC Augsburg (Saturday, 18 May, 15.30 CEST) by becoming the first team to go unbeaten in a Bundesliga season.

To celebrate the achievements of the players and officials and to give fans a lasting memory of this wonderful season to keep at home, Bayer 04 has produced an 88 page MEISTERKUSEN magazine, which will be available free of charge at the at the BayArena on Saturday.

The 10,000 limited edition will be available at the club shop at the BayArena. The Meister magazine will also be available at the fan container (Block C).

All fans, unable to get a paper version, will be able to access the Meister magazine on Saturday in digital form at bayer04.de.

Bayer 04 and main sponsor BarmeniaGothaer have shown great commitment to the community as the sale of custom-designed T-shirts for charity in the Fanwelt as part of the “BarmeniaGothaer Brings Joy campaign raised a good €5,000. Bayer 04 matched this sum with an equal contribution. As a result, a total of €10,000 was presented to Edmond Tapsoba for his foundation ahead of the home match against Hamburg. The foundation supports people facing challenging daily circumstances in his home country of Burkina Faso.
