He scored his first Bundesliga brace in three out of four possible starts in the 6-0 victory over Heidenheim and he set up the equaliser against Borussia Dortmund (1-2).

The vote was conducted via the official Bundesliga app with 40 per cent of the votes from fans and 30 per cent each from the 18 team captains and a panel of experts. Voting for the Bundesliga Player of the Month is open until Sunday, 7 December at 11:59 CET.

Captain Edmond Tapsoba gave his new (and old) teammate a friendly shove forward to take in the acclaim from the fans.
