Together with Marc Lenz, CEO of the German Football League (DFL), Fernando Carro spoke on a panel about the development of Bayer 04 Leverkusen in recent years and the growth of the brand as well as German football in a global context.
Other subjects in the roundtable discussion hosted by Josh Noble (sports editor at the Financial Times) included the international fixture calendar, current TV broadcasting models, the effectiveness of financial regulation and the amount of investment for international growth.

The Bayer 04 Women's team coaches remain in place: The Werkself have extended the contract with assistant coach Remzi Kahraman by two years to 2027. The 30-year-old will continue to assist head coach Roberto Pätzold along with fellow assistant coach Friederike Mehring.
