Omlin was presented with a collage by CEO Fernando Carro and managing director sport Simon Rolfes prior to kick-off at the BayArena.
Omlin featured in a matchday squad for the first time in the 3-0 win over Villarreal in the final game of the UEFA Champions League’s league phase, following his January loan move. Although he didn’t make an appearance for Bayer 04, the goalkeeper always displayed exemplary professionalism and commitment in training, supporting his teammates with his experience, quality and positive energy.

Omlin was also there for good moments off the pitch, such as visiting the Bayer 04 Football School in the Easter holidays, taking time out for selfies, autographs and questions from the young players. The goalkeeper also offered some tips, explaining that he likes to play chess to relax and also teaching the kids a game goalkeepers play to help practise making saves.

Bayer 04 would like to thank Jonas for his efforts and commitment in recent months and wish him all the best for the future.
