Bayer 04 launches new accreditation portal – registration for season and matchday accreditation available now

For media representatives: As part of the preparations for the forthcoming 2025/26 season, all accreditation requests for Werkself home fixtures in all competitions (national and European) can only be made from now via the new online accreditation portal.

TO THE ACCREDITATION  PORTAL

Alternatively, the portal can be accessed via the Bayer 04 homepage.

Just three steps are required of which the first two must only be made once at the beginning. After one-off registration and one-off profile setting on the portal, it will now be possible to apply for accreditation for one or more forthcoming Werkself home games ahead of the relevant match with just a few clicks. Step-by-step guidelines are HERE.

Season Accreditation for the 2025/26 season

From now and until Sunday, 3 August 2025 applications can be made for season accreditation via the new portal as well as application for a season parking permit.

Media representatives will receive a response on the status of their application for season accreditation in good time for the season opener on 5 August (see below). For anybody not receiving confirmation of their application for season accreditation for the coming season then it is, of course, possible to submit an application for matchday accreditation per individual game.

Please note: With photographers, Bayer 04 will continue to work exclusively with matchday accreditations.

The season accreditations will be used for the first time at the season opener on Tuesday, 5 August 2025 (Kick-off: 18:00 CEST at the BayArena) for the friendly against Pisa SC from Italy and, as usual, can be collected on entry to the TV compound (on car park P3). This season parking permit will be on the Bayer 04 app as usual.

matchday Accreditation for the 2025/26 season

Applications for matchday accreditation can in future only be made via the accreditation portal. As a rule for matchday accreditation: In the Bundesliga, accreditation requests must be submitted via the portal at the latest by the Monday (15:00 CEST/CET) before the relevant matchday. For European competitions it is the Thursday before the matchday. For all other fixtures (e.g. in the DFB Pokal) accreditation requests must be received on the portal by five working days prior to the relevant game.

At the end of the deadline, the matchdays will no longer be available for registration on the accreditation portal. Detailed requests after the deadline can no longer be considered. Questions or changes related to illness can obviously be submitted after the deadline to medien@bayer04.de.

After the application deadline, all media representatives will receive confirmation of accreditation or rejection as usual before the game via email. In the event of confirmation, media representatives will receive all information via email on the matchday procedure, an individual parking permit (providing requested) as well as the QR code for their accreditation.

Using the QR code attached to the email, media representatives can print off their matchday accreditation on the day of the game at the TV compound (on car park P3) at the BayArena by scanning the QR code on the accreditation column. The accreditation will be printed out straightaway.
