Alario sidelined for rest of the season

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without striker Lucas Alario during the Bundesliga run-in. The Argentina international suffered a muscle and tendon injury in his right thigh training with the Werkself on Thursday.

That was the diagnosis from an MRI scan and it is expected that the 28-year-old Alario will be out of action for six to eight weeks.
