Werkself lose 3-1 in opening fixture
Bayer 04 lost 3-1 away to Bayern Munich in the opening fixture of the 55th Bundesliga season. In spite of the defeat, the Werkself produced an impressive performance and had numerous chances to achieve a better result. Niklas Süle (9'), Corentin Tolisso (18') and Robert Lewandowski (52') scored for FC Bayern, Admir Mehmedi (65') pulled a goal back for Bayer 04.
