Women: Matchday schedules ten to twelve confirmed
The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed details for matchdays ten to twelve in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga.
December matches at lunchtime: The Bayer 04 Women play all three FFBL fixtures in the final month of the year at 13.00 CET. The matches against top teams Bayern Munich (4 December) and VfL Wolfsburg (11 December) are both on Saturdays. The two games will be streamed live on sportschau.de and MagentaSport.
A week before Christmas, the team under head coach Achim Feifel entertains newcomers FC Carl Zeiss Jena. The home game is the start of the second half of the season and is set to be played on Sunday, 19 December with the kick-off at 13.00 CET. After that, the Werkself Women go into the winter break that lasts until the league restarts at the beginning of February.

During the visit, Bayer 04 committed to extending support for the Bola Pra Frente project for a further five years. In addition, Jorginho, a member of the Brazil 1994 World Cup-winning squad, was named Bayer 04’s second official club legend. With the visit to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the club has strengthened the relationships built up over the years in one of Bayer 04’s most important international markets.

Former player Kristina Sundov is new Bayer 04 Women’s team assistant coach
Ten years after retiring as a player, Kristina Sundov is returning to the Bayer 04 Women’s team as assistant coach. The 39-year-old former Croatia international takes over from Remzi Kahraman, who has taken up a new challenge abroad. She has been given a contract to 30 June 2028.
