
In the first 1vs1 of the night against Karlsruhe's Lukas ‘SAKUL’ Vonderheide, Furkan ‘FURKY’ Kayacik came out on top in a 3-2 win. Mario ‘Bulji’ Lovrinovic faced Khalid ‘KHALIDGRL03’ Gürel in the second game that ended up in a 3-1 win for the KSC eSports players. That meant the Round of 16 tie would go down to the final 2vs2 game: Lovrinovic and Kayacik won 2-1.
The quarter-finals in the DFB eCup are on 16 June. It remains to be seen over the Leverkusen eSports players will face.

Bayer 04 Women goalkeeper Charlotte Voll has been hit by injury again. The 26-year-old suffered an acromioclavicular joint separation in her left shoulder in the latter stages of the Bundesliga match at SC Freiburg on Monday and is set to be sidelined for a number of months. She underwent successful surgery in Düsseldorf on Friday.
