The meeting with Leverkusen began as usual with a 2 vs 2 game. Paderborn’s Jonas ‘JONNY’ Wirth and Yannik ‘WILDSTYLER’ Büscher were up against Landwehr and Kayacik. The Leverkusen eSports players ran out 2-1 winners.
Landwehr faced Paderborn's Wirth in the second game. The 20-year-old Leverkusen player lost 2-0. The third and deciding match saw Mario ‘BULJI’ Lovrinovic representing the Black and Reds against Büscher for SCP. The clash ended in a 1-1 draw with both teams taking one point. The defeat against Wolfsburg in the early evening sees Leverkusen drop to ninth place on eight points.
The #B04eSports team now face two intense encounters: Matchdays nine and ten in the VBL CC are on Sunday 4 December. First there is the digital derby against FC Köln (from 15.30 CET) who are currently second in the North West division. That is followed at 18.30 CET by the match against the league leaders, Hansa Rostock, who finished top of the North West division last season. Both the Rhinelanders and the team from the Baltic coast have not suffered an overall defeat this term. Rostock are top with 19 points and the Cologne team are second on 17 points.

Another efficient performance from the Werkself in the 3-0 home win against FC St. Pauli saw them reach the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal for the third time in a row, and it was not the only record set on what was a successful evening. It meant head coach Kasper Hjulmand was delighted to "still be in with the chance of winning something". Like the coach, however, the ambitious Edmond Tapsoba also stated that he wanted to keep "improving" bit by bit: "We'll continue to give our all, no matter who we come up against."
