
The Tradar app offers sports fans the opportunity to invest in licensed ‘Player tokens’ and benefit from their market development.

We are happy that Bayer 04 have joined us in this project,” said Felix Schmidt, CEO at MFC Labs and the Tradar brand, after signing the contract.

MFC Labs GmbH is a Munich-based start-up founded by former Siemens managers Felix Schmidt (CEO), Michael Ebermann (CGO) and Christian Dotterweich (CTO) in 2021. Their Tradar app is an investment platform for dealing in officially licensed professional footballer tokens and is currently in a test phase with participation from Bayer 04 plus TSG Hoffenheim and Schalke 04. Fans can register now on the Tradar website. The Tradar app will be available to download free from the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore in the summer of 2023 just in time for the start of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season.

Despite a severely depleted squad and being a player down, the Bayer 04 Women made a winning start to their 2026 campaign. Coach Roberto Pätzold's team won 2-1 at newly promoted FC Union Berlin on Friday night thanks to a last-minute goal. Vanessa Fudalla scored from a direct free-kick (78') and Kristin Kögel (90+2’) in stoppage time for the Werkself, who were reduced to ten players on 68 minutes, on an atmospheric stage at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. As a result, the Black and Reds are now fifth in the table for at least one night at the start of matchday 15.
