The Tradar app offers sports fans the opportunity to invest in licensed ‘Player tokens’ and benefit from their market development.

“We are very happy to be able to welcome Tradar now as a forward-looking partner with an innovative and exciting product and to launching an active partnership together,” said Markus Breglec, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Bayer 04.

“For us, sport means above all participation and community. With our app, fans are an integral part of the game and they can benefit from their passion. We thereby offer sports fans at large a completely new opportunity to acquire promising investments. We are happy that Bayer 04 have joined us in this project,” said Felix Schmidt, CEO at MFC Labs and the Tradar brand, after signing the contract.

MFC Labs and the Tradar app:

MFC Labs GmbH is a Munich-based start-up founded by former Siemens managers Felix Schmidt (CEO), Michael Ebermann (CGO) and Christian Dotterweich (CTO) in 2021. Their Tradar app is an investment platform for dealing in officially licensed professional footballer tokens and is currently in a test phase with participation from Bayer 04 plus TSG Hoffenheim and Schalke 04. Fans can register now on the Tradar website. The Tradar app will be available to download free from the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore in the summer of 2023 just in time for the start of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season.
