Never goalless
This fixture has never produced a 0-0 draw (on average 3.1 goals per game). No other fixture in history the Bundesliga has yet to end in a goalless draw.
The Werkself have secured nine wins in the last 11 Bundesliga games and have only lost twice in that run – they were both away games at Gladbach (2-1 defeats on matchday 33 in 2015/16 and on matchday one in 2016/17).
Eintracht strong at home
Eintracht have won their last three home games in the Bundesliga. The last time there were more home victories in Frankfurt was between April and September 2000 under Felix Magath (eight on the bounce).
The Werkself in good shape
The Werkself showed true grit last weekend when they secured a 3-1 win against Hamburg SV after being a goal down. Last season Bayer 04 collected 19 points coming from behind and that was the best in the Bundesliga last term.
Coaching duo with Bayer 04 past
Niko and Robert Kovac signed for the Werkself in the summer of 1996. Niko stayed to 1999 before joining HSV and Robert to 2001 before moving on to Bayer Munich. Niko made 77 Bundesliga appearances (eight goals) for the Werkself, Robert 127 (one goal).
