While the team under head coach Peter Bosz will be looking to secure a Champions League spot in the remaining four home games, supporters will be cheering the team on from in front of their televisions. Their seats at the BayArena will be empty. But support at the ground is possible – by optical means.
Bayer 04 fans can submit a photo to be part of a gigantic banner of support that will cover the whole of the East Stand with its width of 100 metres and a height of 20 metres. With this visual support behind them, the Werkself want to extend the perfect home record in 2020 of seven wins in seven games in the matches against Wolfsburg, Bayer Munich, FC Köln and Mainz 05.
And this is how to do it: Just send a photo in landscape format on an email with the subject heading 'Unterstützungsbanner' (banner of support) to info@bayer04.de. The closing date is Sunday, 10 May at 19.04 CET. Please make sure the photograph is of sufficient quality. The best way is to take a photo with your smart phone or a camera and submit it uncompressed.
Every supporter has a chance of their photo being on the banner. If more photos are submitted than there is space then a draw will be held.

Argentina’s success at the U20 World Cup in Chile continues. The junior Albiceleste, with Bayer 04 player Alejo Sarco in the starting XI, beat Mexico 2-0 in the quarter-finals on Sunday night. Colombia, who knocked out Spain, now await in the semi-finals on Thursday night.

Following the derby at FC Köln being abandoned, the Bayer 04 Women are away again on Bundesliga matchday 6. Roberto Pätzold's team will face TSG Hoffenheim on Sunday (16:00 CEST, Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion) . The Werkself will be aiming for their fifth consecutive win against the team currently lying third in the table.
