Die Schrift
Die Schriftart von Namenszug und Rückennummer ist historischen Vorbildern entlehnt. Aus allen ehemaligen Bayer-Logos haben JAKO und Bayer 04 die Ziffer „4“ eines Logos aus den späten 1970er Jahren ausgewählt, die als Vorbild für Zahlen und Buchstaben auf den neuen Trikots diente.
„Werkself“
Ein Schriftzug auf der Kragen-Rückseite gehört zur sprichwörtlichen DNA eines jeden Trikots. Und so ziert auch die Jerseys von Bayer 04 Leverkusen der Aufdruck „Werkself“ in diesem Bereich. Der Schriftzug ist in der gleichen Schriftart gehalten, wie Rückennummer und Spielernamen.
QR-Code
Ein besonderes technisches Detail findet sich direkt unterhalb der Skyline-Grafik. Ein QR-Code führt Fans zu einem Countdown zum Bundesliga-Auftakt. Ab dem 1. Spieltag wandelt sich die Webseite in einen Treffpunkt für die Bayer 04-Community, auf der Fotos hochgeladen und Erlebnisse geteilt werden können. „Leverkusen war schließlich der erste Verein in Deutschland, der in seinem Stadion flächendeckend freies WIFI eingeführt hat. Deshalb passt dieser QR-Code absolut zur technisch innovativen Ausrichtung des Klubs“, sagt Trikot-Designer David Blanch.
JAKO Security Label
Das JAKO-Security Label zeigt dem Träger des neuen Jerseys der „Werkself“, dass er ein Qualitätsprodukt der Marke JAKO trägt. Es garantiert Bayer 04-Fans, im Stadion ein Originaltrikot zu tragen, dass der deutsche Mittelständler in Zusammenarbeit mit Bayer 04 Leverkusen entworfen hat.
Bayer 04 have fond memories of their encounters with Heidenheim, including a resounding 6-0 win in the reverse fixture. Kasper Hjulmand’s side would very much like to produce a similarly clinical display as they now head to the Voith-Arena for Matchday 27 on Saturday (15:30 CET). The Bayer 04 Women welcome FC Carl Zeiss Jena to the Ulrich Haberland Stadium on Sunday night in a white retro look - and in a unique Bayer 04 ‘50 Years of Fan Clubs’ special edition jersey. Bayer 04 return to Bundesliga action this weekend. Following their elimination in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, the Werkself are away to FC Heidenheim 1846 on Saturday, 21 March (kick-off: 15:30 CET) on Bundesliga matchday 27.
