
The 29-year-old centre forward has played for the Werkself since 2017 making 159 appearances and scoring 56 goals. The Argentina international signed for Bayer 04 five years ago from the top South American club River Plate.

His six goals in the second half of last season made a valuable contribution to us achieving qualification for the Champions League," said Simon Rolfes, currently sporting director and from 1 July sporting managing director at Bayer 04. Attacking midfielder Paulina Bartz is leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen for good on a permanent move to Hamburger SV in the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga. The 21-year-old, who was on loan to the newly promoted side in the winter, originally had a contract to 2027.

A goal-fest to kick off the U19 European Championship in Wales: Germany defeated Denmark 4–3 in their first Group A fixture. Both Montrell Culbreath and captain Francis Onyeka were in the starting line-up, with the latter scoring the first goal of the game from the penalty spot on five minutes.
