The Goal

One of the most important targets of the coaching academy is the continual development in the above-mentioned subjects and thereby the securing of a continually high level of knowledge in the sporting organisation.

Moreover: The creation of a well-founded education system of our clubs coaches with constant development of expertise in the sense of the Bayer 04 approach to the game and thereby a continual improvement of the individual development of our coaches and by extension of our players.

Training system

The training of coaches at Bayer 04 does not end with the DFB coaching licence. Based on professional and specific workshops in modules, which are determined according to the individual competence and abilities of the coaches, can be optimally trained.

The coaches of all youth teams have the opportunity to use the inspiration from the Bayer 04 coaching Academy for themselves and their development.

The target is to set new incentives every day and let ideas come forward. The coaches will not remain on their current level but they see the bigger picture. They will not miss trends but instead set them. This will happen both through external as well as internal influences.

Our Bayer 04 coaches are taught to teach the required content and ideas of the club according to age in their teams.
