Simon Lackmann – first team analyst

Simon Lackmann, born in Münster and grown up near Kiel, studied sports science at the Sports University in Cologne. He started in the scouting department at Bayer 04 as a video analyst in 2009. Together with assistant coach Marcel Daum, he is responsible for analysing opponents as well as his own team's games and training sessions.

Lackmann has already worked with a large number of Bayer 04 head coaches - Jupp Heynckes, Roger Schmidt, Peter Bosz as well as Xabi Alonso.
