Fan liaison
The Bayer 04 Fan Liaison consists of Rüdiger ‘Rudi’ Vollborn, Lucia ‘Lucy’ Thum, Sebastian ‘Sebo’ Friedrich and Andreas ‘Paffi’ Paffrath as the main team and they also act as a contact point for all matters relating to Bayer 04. These can be requests, problems or also worries.

Outside matchday's, whether home or away, fan liaison is available to you via phone, email or in person. It answers questions and issues, passes these on if necessary and/or negotiates. In addition to direct work with fans, fan liaison also acts as an interface to many other areas and not just those at Bayer 04.

Home and away games
No game without fans – but before that there are discussions amongst ourselves. Amongst ourselves means here: At home games fan liaison is involved in matchday meetings. The matchday itself begins and ends for fan liaison at the fan container at Block C. After the final whistle, the team produce written information on the matchday and inform the Bayer 04 management. After the weekend and before the next matchday there is an internal review discussion plus looking forwards and a current report on Bayer 04.
For the away games, fan liaison speaks to colleagues in the league about what is permitted at grounds and which useful advice (for example bag deposit, payment in the stadium, car parking etc) on the game is relevant for Werkself fans. Fan information will then be produced. For away games too, fan liaison is in constant contact with Bayer 04 management and reports promptly and directly with any outstanding problems.
sympathetic ear
Bayer 04 has been involved in working with fans for over three decades. Fan clubs were established in the 1970s and some are still active today and hopefully will be for a long time. Issues raised by the fans have always been handled in confidence. In addition, the team offers to pass on network partners in addition to helping with problems and worries. Fans can decide themselves who they want to speak to from fan liaison. This much is certain: You are never alone as a Bayer 04 fan.
STadium bans (hearing commission)
For Bayer 04 fans who have received a stadium ban from Bayer 04, fan liaison together with the Fanprojekt Leverkusen e.V. is the contact point. There is a so-called stadium ban hearing commission in Leverkusen as well that can be convened on request to discuss cases. Another option is meeting the state and federal police, the employment protection team as well as fan liaison and the fan project. This committee also gives the person with the stadium ban the opportunity to speak and many bans are reduced based on positive feedback from that meeting.
