Stephan Rehm – Head of Match Operations

Stephan Rehm has been with Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH since 1999 and brings extensive experience in professional match operations and event management. His professional background is rooted in the regional football environment, combined with expertise in event organization and sports journalism in the Düsseldorf area.

Together with his team, Rehm is responsible for the operational delivery of Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s home matches at the BayArena, as well as for the organization of training camps and friendly matches of the first team. In his role as UEFA Main Contact, he manages the central interface between the club and UEFA within the framework of UEFA club competitions. In addition, he is an active member of a UEFA Working Group focusing on the development and implementation of organizational regulations.

Alongside his operational responsibilities, Stephan Rehm is actively involved in overarching fan and safety governance structures. He is a member of the „Working Group Fans“ of the European Football Clubs (EFC) and serves on Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s SFS committee (Safety, Fans, Match Operations), where he contributes to the strategic development of fan-related, safety-related, and event-relevant topics.
