Together with the respective coaches, the teams' parent representatives coordinated a special penalty shoot-out where each of the players were allowed five shots on goal. The special aspect this year was the parents were in between the posts as goalkeepers. It was particularly pleasing that the new parents of our Future Kids were enthusiastic right from the start and integrated seamlessly into the community.
Any parents who hoped the children would take it easy when shooting at the goal were soon proved wrong. Goal after goal was scored according to the motto of no mercy. Each parent decided in advance how much they would donate for each goal scored. That increased the incentive to score as many goals as possible.

In addition to the contributions from parents, staff from the Kurtekotten Performance Centre increased the donation with further generous donations. At the end of the campaign, the impressive sum of €3,420 euros. The fun of all those involved and the good co-operation between the club and the parents made the campaign a real success.
In the middle of the week, U14 player Nelo Rajcic, on behalf of all participants, handed over the donation at the Glashaus in Essen - during the live broadcast. Many thanks to everyone involved for their fantastic commitment and willingness to donate!
