From Bayer 04 to FC Utrecht: Chigozie Owen moves to the Eredivisie
Bayer 04 have transferred U19 midfielder Emmanuel Chigozie Owen to FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie.
The Germany U19 international joined Bayer 04 in 2024 from the academy at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Bayer 04 have secured a buy-back option on the talented Chigozie Owen, who now hopes to make his professional debut in the Dutch top flight and lay the foundations for a successful career there. “Emmanuel Chigozie Owen has great potential and we will be following his progress closely,” said Kim Falkenberg, Director of Football at Bayer 04.

Bayer 04 expand business partnership with EDO Personalservice
Bayer 04 Leverkusen has extended the existing partnership agreement with EDO Personalservice GmbH and, at the same time, expanded its collaboration with the Cologne-based company. The official partner in the Business Club has been upgraded within Bayer 04’s partner network. The revised and enhanced support for the club has initially been agreed for two years, running until 30 June 2028.
