The 24-year-old joined Leverkusen from Servette FCCF in her home country of Switzerland in the summer of 2021 and she went on to make 56 appearances and score five goals for the Bayer 04 Women’s team. This season she played nine games in the Bundesliga and two in the DFB-Pokal off the bench. Arfaoui was in the Switzerland squad at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand but did not play.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will begin their 2025-26 preseason campaign with an exciting friendly against Flamengo U20, one of South America’s elite youth sides, on Thursday, 18 July at 15:00 local time (20:00 CEST). The game will be played at historic Estádio da Gávea in Rio de Janeiro.
